Ashley Etchings is the visionary behind DIPHDA, where her diverse talents as an entrepreneur, musician, mama, metalsmith, and jewelry designer converge to create something truly extraordinary. Driven by a desire to craft jewelry that goes beyond the basic, Ashley envisioned pieces that are timeless yet modern, expertly balancing masculine and feminine elements. Her gender fluid designs speak to those who want their jewelry to make a bold statement of uniqueness and beauty.
The inspiration for DIPHDA emerged from a deeply personal moment in Ashley’s life. When her beloved dog, Wylee, passed away, she realized that all she had left was an old, worn-out collar—nothing that truly captured his spirit or the bond they shared. This realization sparked a powerful idea: if pets are family, why shouldn’t we have something beautiful and meaningful to honor their memory—something that holds their energy and can be cherished forever?
With a deep passion for connecting people and their pets through energy and style, Ashley also founded DIPHDA Pet. She believes that just as people benefit from the healing power of crystals while looking fabulous, our beloved animal companions deserve the same. THE NAME
DIPHDA (pronounced dif-dah) takes its name from a radiant giant star in the constellation Cetus. Though it’s the beta star, Diphda outshines the alpha, glowing about 140 times brighter than our sun.
When Ashley founded DIPHDA, her husband remarked that her light shone brightest when she was doing what she loved. That’s the feeling she wants to evoke in everyone who wears her pieces—to feel more radiant than the sun itself.
